Dish Discovery Studios was founded in 2002 by Maeve McKenna, a 22-year-old in college. McKenna was always passionate about cooking. She would often go to the store, buy the ingredients for her dish, and then end up with her dish she intended for, and a bunch of random ingredients in her fridge that she didn’t know what to do with. They would eventually go to waste. She felt as if it was a chore figuring out what to do with the leftover ingredients she had, but not only that, she felt guilty when they would go bad.

 

Mckenna decided she wanted to create a fun and useful way to go about this surprisingly common predicament. That is when she created Dish Discovery Studios. Dish Discovery Studios is a fun solution and the answer to all cooking predicaments. She made her first mobile game “Dish Discovery Delight” in October 2023. She wanted people to have fun with it, but also to be useful in real life. After the success of her first game, she created “The Grocery Store Dash” as well.
